We collect nothing.
The whole policy in one sentence: AIPixel runs entirely on your Mac, makes anonymous requests to one public API for model data, and never collects, stores, sells, or transmits anything about you.
What we don't collect
- No name, email, IP address, location, or device identifiers
- No analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking tools
- No tracking across other apps or websites
- No user accounts — the app doesn't even have a sign-in
What the app touches
Network — OpenRouter API. The app sends anonymous HTTPS GET requests to openrouter.ai/api/v1/models to retrieve the public list of AI models, their prices, and metadata. No identifiers about you are included. OpenRouter's own policy applies to their handling of these requests: openrouter.ai/privacy.
Local storage — your preferences. Settings (refresh interval, theme, menu bar style, pinned models) live in macOS UserDefaults on your machine. They never leave it.
Pro subscriptions
If you subscribe to Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit, under Apple's privacy policy. We receive a receipt confirming the subscription is active — not your name, email, or payment details.
This website
This site is static. No cookies, no analytics. Your theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage and stays there.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — see "What we don't collect," which is everything.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes, and material changes get a note in the next app update.
